1. On both stores. Every pick is on Google Play (US) and the App Store (US). We confirmed each Google Play listing loads; delisted games return an error page.

How to check any mobile game in 60 seconds

1. Read the labels. Google Play shows “Contains ads” and “In-app purchases.” The App Store lists every purchase.
2. Find the most expensive item. A “free” game selling a $99 pack is built for big spenders.
3. Check score and rating count. A 4.8 from 12 people is a guess; a 4.5 from 200,000 is real.
4. Check the last update. Nothing in a year? It may be abandoned.
5. Check the size. Console-style games need 2 to 4 GB.
6. Match the developer name. Copycats reuse the same icon.
7. Play 10 minutes. Not hooked? Delete it. On Google Play you can request a refund within 48 hours.
