Apple’s big Siri upgrade, part of Apple Intelligence, is set to arrive in spring 2025 with iOS 18.4, bringing context-aware capabilities to the voice assistant.

Siri will be able to control actions within apps, understand on-screen content, and determine appropriate responses based on context.

The full version will be released in 2025, but some features such as a new design and ChatGPT integration with Apple Intelligence will debut this autumn.

Developer beta testing for the new Siri features is expected to begin in January 2025, giving you early access to the improved voice assistant.

The Apple Watch Series 10 and Ultra 3 will feature a new processor, which may enable AI improvements, but won’t run the full Apple Intelligence suite.

The Vision Pro headset is scheduled to receive Apple Intelligence features in 2025, extending its capabilities beyond the initial launch.

HomePod users will have to wait longer for AI upgrades, as Apple is reportedly developing an “AI-powered table-top robot” instead.

New AI features may include the ability to browse photo libraries and perform complex tasks such as copying information from images.

The iOS 18 update is expected to bring a redesigned Siri interface, replacing the circle graphic with a pulsing rainbow around the screen bezel.
