Jaclyn Philpott, who has been the Executive Director of the Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI), has made the announcement that she will be stepping down from her position.

Since taking the helm in 2021, Philpott has been at the forefront of AFCI, driving initiatives that support film commissions around the globe.

Thanks to her guidance, AFCI has broadened its international reach and improved educational programs for its members.

Philpott has been instrumental in organizing events like Cineposium, which have helped to foster collaboration within the film industry.

Her decision to leave comes as AFCI gears up to celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2025.

The organization has also revealed some changes to its Board of Directors and Advisory Board for the upcoming year.

AFCI has welcomed new members to its Advisory Board, including representatives from Amazon MGM Studios, Lionsgate, Netflix, and Paramount.

Cineposium 2025 is set to take place in Cincinnati, coinciding with AFCI’s milestone 50th anniversary.
